ZIAS’s design sought to restructure the international school’s campus. The first of two buildings is a two-story structure reserved for classrooms. This facility brings together all of the grades, from pre-K to secondary, into a single building. The second is reserved for administrative functions. Zias’s design for this building gives the school entrance area a more welcoming ambiance. Its glass-walled façade is studded with primary colored blocks, which represent the school’s various education-related values. Overall, the new layout avails more open space for a sweeping courtyard, terraces and rooftop shaded playgrounds.
