Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Built up area: 138,700 sq.m ZIAS designed facilities with the capacity to process 600,00 tons per annum of dry and perishable cargo. The establishment includes a terminal building, parking aprons fit for 5 aircrafts, office and canteen buildings, all related to the processing and transport of outbound and incoming cargo. ZIAS was subcontracted by DELTA Built Environment Consultants to undertake the design for the project. The ZIAS team also conducted a topographical survey and geotechnical investigations as well as architectural and MEP services for the office and canteen buildings. Upon completion, this impressive terminal will facilitate Ethiopian Airlines’ mission to become the most competitive African cargo carrier by 2025. |
