Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Built up area: 3,000 sq.m Client: Ethiopian Shipping & Logistics Services Enterprise Project completion: 2014 Project cost: $400 million BIR The centerpiece of this mixed-use building is a revolving restaurant located on the 21st floor. The floors below are separated into an apartment wing and an office wing, each with its own lobby. Granite floors and wooden cladding give both lobbies an elegant interior finish, an aesthetic reflected throughout the building. ZIAS’s sister company, National Consultants, drew up the original concept for this building. ZIAS proceeded to develop the design and has followed through with the contract administration and construction supervision. Upon completion, Ethiopian Shipping & Logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE) will use this flagship building to gather all of their departments and functions into a single space, thereby streamlining their services. The high-end apartments will be rented out on a lease basis |
